A visually compelling annual report template to engage clients and stakeholders*

Client Background

Northbridge is a full-service global investment manager serving financial advisors, intermediaries and institutional clients. Their time-tested investing approach combines collective expertise, long-term discipline and thoughtful risk management to uncover the best investment opportunities in the market. Driven by their conviction to always do what’s best for clients, Northbridge has a global investment platform that has been shaped by decades of putting clients first.

The Challenge

Northbridge Financials’ reporting templates were outdated and inconsistent, creating a fractured and disjointed experience for their stakeholders, clients, and the public. The reports had to strike a balance between informing without overwhelming. The data-heavy content needed to be accessible, visually cohesive, and persuasive to influence decision making and policy discussions.

My Solution

Utilizing my extensive report design expertise, I executed editions of Northbridges’ core reports ensuring each execution was consistent, compelling, and easy to digest. From these executions I created updated templates for Northbridge to utilize in all future reporting.

  • Visual storytelling: I aligned the report’s design with the inherent narrative reinforcing key messages and created a clear information hierarchy making the complex material scannable and easier to digest.
  • Strategic data visualization: I transformed complex statistics into clear, digestible charts and graphs, maintaining consistency throughout the document.
  • Balanced imagery: I carefully selected photos that conveyed the appropriate themes and content while maintaining a polished and professional aesthetic.
